Climate scientists tell the public that methane is a powerful greenhouse gas, responsible for about 30% of Earth’s man made temperature increase. That prediction is based entirely on flawed mathematics.
In this presentation, Dr. Vivian Robinson shows that there is no physical sign that atmospheric methane has been detected absorbing any radiation. It does that by showing the laboratory measured wavelengths that the greenhouse gasses absorb. It also gives measured spectra of the incoming solar radiation and the outgoing heat radiation. They show the radiation absorbed by the greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere. The results show the match between the laboratory and atmospheric measurements for water vapor, carbon dioxide and oxygen/ozone absorption is very good. Satellite measurement shows the atmospheric methane’s absorption of Earth emitted radiation is somewhere between non-existent and impossible to measure. “Experts” say that when methane is well mixed in air, it absorbs radiation in the range of about 1 to 3 microns. That may be measured in laboratory experiments. Spectral measurements of the incoming solar radiation show no sign of it. Even if it did, it makes no difference to Earth’s temperature because that radiation would be absorbed anyway. “Experts” predictions of methane’s bad warming effect are mathematically based on a seriously flawed theory. Based on no experimental evidence, “experts” want to ban methane’s use for anything and ban cattle because they belch methane, among other bans. That is another example of mathematicians losing touch with reality.
