This is a QA&D session, hosted by Dr. John G. Williamson, following a presentation of Dr. Martin van der Mark’s talk on Quantum Particle, Light Clock, Or Heavy Beat Box? given at the 2018 Vigier conference (see QC084). The properties of a light clock are investigated. Such a clock slows down relativistically while its constituent frequency speeds up. The talk illustrates beautifully the origin of the harmony of phases, the de Broglie wavelength, and hence, the relativistic basis of quantum mechanics.

This is the QA&D session following Prof. Louis H. Kauffman’s presentation (QC085) on the subject of Knots, Quantum Field Theory, and how these mathematical formulations relate to the physics of particles.

This is the QA&D following Dr. Vivian Robinson’s presentation explaining how The Robinson Model of Nuclear Binding describes the structure and properties of any atomic nucleus of any A and Z. It accounts for their bonding, shape, properties, as well as why certain configurations are stable while others are radioactive.

Dr. MARTIN B. VAN DER MARK delivers his presentation on “Quantum Particle, Light Clock or Heavy Beat Box?” at the Vigier Conference, 8 August, 2018.
The first in a series of Quicycle Society Panel Discussion, on the topic or peer review in science. What is good about peer review, where does the process fail, and what might be a better way to approach it?
The panelists: Dr. John G. Williamson, Dr. Garnet Ord, Dr. Chary Rangacharyulu, Prof. Peter Rowlands, Dr. Vivian Robinson, and Prof. Louis Kauffman.
This is the QA&D session following Prof. Peter Rowlands presentation (QC073) on the possibility that dark energy may constitute precisely two thirds of the mass-energy of the Universe. This then relates the rate of expansion of the Universe to its rate of acceleration.
